WELCOME TO VILLA CAIRNVILLE

OVERVIEW
Our holiday home is called Villa Cairnville and is situated on a large corner plot in a quiet area of Dalyan, but is only a 13 minute walk (per Google) to Migros supermarket in the centre of Dalyan, or a 14 minute walk to the PTT. Here is a description of our lovely three bedroom, two bathroom villa:

VILLA CAIRNVILLE IN DALYAN
Access to Villa Cairnville is located in Erkenler Sokak in Dalyan and can easily be found on Google maps, or you can contact us and we will email you a map.

The drive has now been completely laid with Turkish stone to give an extra sunbathing area, but we have left the lemon tree.

The villa is exceptionally spacious which is not always easy to see from some of the photographs. Please scroll through the photographs for each room.

There are a few steps to climb to enter the villa but there are grab rails on either side of the wide steps.

Sliding doors from the downstairs covered terrace lead you into the villa.

KITCHEN
The kitchen of Villa Cairnville is bright with plenty of space to move around, well appointed and has everything that you should require during your self-catering holiday. You will find ample granite worktop space to prepare meals and an integrated granite topped breakfast bar.

The granite has goregeous golden and silver-coloured flecks, making it shine and sparkle. It gives the kitchen an almost ethereal quality, adding beauty and mystery.

The kitchen is equipped with a full sized frost-free fridge freezer, integrated gas hob, fan assisted oven and extractor fan, separate microwave, washing machine, kettle, 4 slice toaster, stainless steel cafetiere, teapot, hand blender, steam iron and tea towels.

White porcelain crockery, serving bowls, glassware and cutlery is provided including white plastic dishes and glasses for outdoor use.

The kitchen window can be tilted or fully opened and has an integrated venetian blind.

LIVING ROOM
Features a double height ceiling with exposed beams and wood panelled ceiling.

The three dual aspect uPVC wood effect double glazed windows flood the room with light and are all fitted with mosquito nets. The windows can all be tilted or fully opened.

The room is tastefully furnished with a L-shaped suite giving ample seating for 6 with a square coffee table set in the middle, complimenting the other furniture.

The room is air conditioned and very well equipped with LED TV, media player, Nintendo Wii with 2 controllers, MP3 CD/radio and Sony docking station for your ipod or MP3 player.

We have also provided an extensive movie library for the media player, music CD's, selection of books, Wii games and some board games for you to enjoy during your stay.

The Wi-Fi unit is located in the living room next to the television.

There is a double UK style electrical socket with USB connection.

DOUBLE BEDROOM (ground floor)
The large, spacious double bedroom has a king size bed 2 metres in length with a quality, comfortable orthopedic mattress, bedside cabinets with bedside lamps, radio alarm clock, hair dryer and straighteners.

The room benefits from extensive fitted wardrobes offering ample hanging, shelf and drawer space. The bedroom has remote controlled air conditioning.

All linen is provided along with 10.5 tog duvet with crisp white Egyptian cotton duvet cover and a white cotton blanket.

The room has dual aspect uPVC wood effect windows which can be either tilted or fully opened. All are fitted with mosquito nets.

FAMILY BATHROOM (ground floor)
Access to the bathroom is from the rear hall.

Spacious bathroom situated between the double bedroom and the twin bedroom on the ground floor.

The bathroom is fully tiled with beige coloured tiles and has a large rectangular, easy walk-in shower, WC and wash hand basin with mirror and light above. The bathroom has a shaver point.

Hand and guests towels are provided.

A fly screen is fitted to the bathroom window which is of a good size, making the room quite bright.

THE TWIN ROOM
The twin room in Villa Cairnville is exceptionally spacious with two single beds, which are both 2 metres in length with quality, comfortable orthopedic mattresses, bedside cabinet with lamp, radio alarm clock and hair dryer.

The twin room benefits from a wall of fitted wardrobes offering plenty of hanging and shelf / drawer space including a mirror in the middle.

The bedroom has remote controlled air conditioning.

All linen is provided along with 10.5 tog duvets with crisp white Egyptian cotton duvet covers

The twin room has three, dual aspect uPVC wood effect windows and all are fitted with mosquito nets.

The full sized ironing board can be found in this room.

GALLERY WALKWAY TO FIRST FLOOR
The villa has a lovely marble staircase with wrought iron banister leading to a gallery walkway to the master bedroom with dressing room, en-suite and terrace on first floor.

There is a south facing arched window overlooking the stairs.

MASTER BEDROOM
Very spacious master bedroom with king size bed 2 metres in length with a quality, comfortable orthopedic mattress, bedside cabinets with lamps, radio alarm clock, hair dryer and straighteners.

Archway to separate dressing room containing fitted wardrobes offering genrous hanging and shelf / drawer space.

The bedroom has remote controlled air conditioning.

All linen is provided along with a 10.5 tog duvet with crisp white Egyptian cotton duvet cover.

The room has a north facing uPVC wood effect window which can be either tilted or fully opened. It is fitted with a mosquito net.

Access via west facing patio doors to first floor terrace. The patio doors combined with the window make the bedroom very bright.

MASTER BEDROOM EN-SUITE BATHROOM
The spacious en-suite bathroom is fully tiled with a large walk in rectangular shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin with mirror above. There is a cupboard under the wash hand basin for storage.

Attractive insert display shelving to the side of the wash hand basin.

There is a shaver point and uPVC wood effect window with mosquito net.

1ST FLOOR TERRACE
Relax with a drink in the evening on cushioned wooden chairs.

From the first floor you can look down on the pool and garden below. The is a nice terrace area with antique travertine floor tiles and bordered with wrought iron railings.

From the terrace there are views of the Rock Tombs in the distance.

We quite often enjoy our morning coffee on the terrace watching the storks flying past.

SWIMMING POOL & SUNBATHING AREAS
There are steps into the shallow end of the 12 metre length private pool with grab handles allowing easy access in and out of the pool.

The shallow end of the pool is 1.3 metres in depth and increases to 1.7 metres at the deep end where you will also find pool ladders.

The children's pool is located beside the main patio / sun bathing area and also the pagoda so that you can keep a close watch on any children playing. There is a fixed barrier for safety between it and the main pool. The pools have underwatre LED lighting.

A foot pump is available in the villa for blowing up lilos, inflatable rings etc.

There are six cushioned sun loungers with ample small tables and parasols for shade, which is ideal for you to enjoy those long lazy days in the sun.

Enjoy a walk round the inside of the private swimming pool of Villa Cairnville. We actually went in with the camera and walked round the whole pool to shoot this video.

The size of the pool allows you to have a nice swim, as well as play.

DOWNSTAIRS COVERED TERRACE
The large covered terrace is accessible from either the patio doors in the lounge, the main entrance door, or the garden.

From the living area you can access the large ground floor covered terrace via the patio doors.

Outdoor furniture is provided for al fresco dining for up to 6 guests.

The spacious terrace has a wooden panelled ceiling and offers welcome shelter from the hot sun. during the day.

The area is great to relax and enjoy the tranquil evenings and the beautiful views over the stunning pools, garden and onto the mountains beyond.

GARDEN AND DRIVEWAY
Villa Cairnville is located within a private walled garden and contains many different flowering shrubs along with lemon, mandarin and pomegranate trees.

In one corner of the garden there is a large wooden pagoda where you can find additional shade during the day, or just a quiet corner to read a book. There are thick padded cushions in the pagoda and also a light enabling you to sit out later in the evening enjoying the peace and tranquility.

When evening falls you can switch on the night lights in the garden, pools and terrace as the sun goes down.

Villa Cairnville has a no smoking policy inside, but you are free to smoke outside and we do provide ashtrays.

Mountain bikes can be rented in Dalyan town centre for a reasonable cost.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Villa Cairnville is fitted with an alarm system for your peace of mind.

All linen and towels are supplied including tea towels and large pool towels.

If you stay for more than one week, bed linen and towels will be changed every week.

There is a triple pole outdoor washing line in the back corner of the garden, which is now all chipped to make it more accessible.

A travel cot and highchair are available upon request, but subject to availability.
